As with anything built to fit a specific style or need there are many elements to consider. This page has been designed to help you with that process. We hope it also gives you a better understanding of our business and commitment to quality.
Design
Our priority is to work with you the customer to find a design that fits your needs and style. From classical to contemporary, the majority of the work we do is designed in-house, however, we also work with plans created by architects and interior designers. Your project will begin by meeting with us to discuss the Design, Construction, Finish and Details of your custom cabinetry, from there we will produce a set of drawings for review. Construction does not begin until all of the design needs have been met and the plans confirmed by you.
Construction
When thinking about the construction of your cabinets there are a few choices to be made:
1. Frameless design or Face-framed?
2. What type of materials?

1. Frameless cabinets offer a contemporary look as well as more interior space while a cabinet built with a face-frame has a traditional style that can be given more attention to design.
2. The materials used in the construction of your cabinets are dictated by the finished look you are trying to achieve. If a natural or stained finish is what you are looking for, any number of beautiful hardwoods can be used. For a painted surface the structure is made of various material components. Only high quality products are used in the construction of your cabinets.
Finish
Whether painted, stained or natural, the finish you choose can be achieved. Even specialty finishes such as glazing and distressing are available. The finish products we use can also be made to closely match an existing stain or paint color. Please ask to see our collection of finish samples. If you are trying to match an existing finish please provide a sample to work from.
We use the M.L. Campbell line of products for our “house” finishes. More information can be found at www.mlcampbell.com
